It’s festival time in the Twin Cities. Summer is finally here so get out and enjoy all that the cities has to offer. From Farmers’ Markets all over the state to Grand Old Day and the Grand Re-opening of the Children’s Museum, there’s family fun for everyone this June in the Twin Cities.

St. Anthony Park Garden Club – Plant Sale

The first Saturday in June finds our members busy selling plants to the public at the St. Anthony Park Lutheran Church, corner of Como Avenue and Luther Place (across from the Speedy Market). The plant sale coincides with the St. Anthony Park Arts Festival and St. Anthony Park Library book sale.
The plant sale’s hours are 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
We have a good assortment of perennials, natives, and house plants, with some vegetables, shrubs/trees, and annuals. But you never know what our members will have to share through the sale! In 2016 we had special large six-packs of pollinator-friendly plants (milkweed, blazing star, and others).
WaterFest 2017

WaterFest is a free celebration of our clean lakes and offers outdoor fun and opportunities for hands-on learning about the water quality, wildlife, and special ecological features of our beautiful watershed.
Grand Old Day

Whether you’re looking for the best summer parade in Minnesota (complete with candy, of course!), Minnesota outdoor music festivals, some of the best fair foods Minnesota has to offer, or just some good old family fun in the sun – St. Paul’s Grand Old Day is the place to go! The 2-1/2 Miles of Grand Avenue is divided into 4 unique “Districts” which will have something for all ages and interests.
Chalkfest at Arbor Lakes

Chalkfest at Arbor Lakes, presented by Minneapolis Northwest Tourism, is a free, 2-day street art festival with entertainment, food, and family fun! The Chalkfest at Arbor Lakes is featuring sidewalk chalk art by professionals, amateurs & art enthusiasts from across the world! The event will occur on June 10-11, 2017 (10-5 both days) and is located on Main Street in Arbor Lakes. The Fountains at Arbor Lakes is also to display amazing murals by our artist-in-residence, Shawn McCann and visiting artists prior to the event.
Stone Arch Bridge Festival

The Stone Arch Bridge Festival is held every Father’s Day weekend on the Minneapolis Riverfront. It is the 3rdlargest festival in Minneapolis drawing thousands of visitors to the beautiful scenery of the Mississippi River and Minneapolis skyline. The festival is known for the unique artwork for sale from 200+ artists, live music on multiple stages, and family friendly activities including an extensive car show.
Where: The festival is held on the Minneapolis Riverfront along Main Street SE beginning at Hennepin Avenue and extending to the Stone Arch Bridge. The festival site includes Father Hennepin Park and Water Power Park.
Admission: FREE! The only ticketed events are the Stone Arch Beer Samplers. Tickets may be purchase in advance on the website or onsite.
All-New Minnesota Children’s Museum Block Party

Twin Cities Pride Festival
