Wells Fargo Winter Skate

Skaters are invited to experience the unique urban setting of downtown Saint Paul. Located in the heart of the city, Wells Fargo WinterSkate creates a fun, winter experience for visitors of all ages. The historic Landmark Center creates a beautiful backdrop for the outdoor rink, showcasing Saint Paul’s charming European architecture and old-world ambiance.
We invite you and your whole family to dust off your skates and head to downtown Saint Paul. The outdoor rink will be filled with noontime skaters, after school groups, youth hockey scrimmages and practices, broomball teams, corporate events, and family open skating.

Minneapolis Boat Show

The 2018 Progressive® Insurance Minneapolis Boat Show® cruises to its home port at the Minneapolis Convention Center January 11 – 14 for four days of summer fun. The annual extravaganza offers attendees the chance to view, board and shop hundreds of new boats and innovative marine accessories. The Progressive® Insurance Minneapolis Boat Show® is a family favorite for replacing winter blues with dreams of summer fun spent on the water.
Winter Open House: Snowshoes & Tracks

Learn how to walk, run, and turn around on snowshoes. •Learn about Animal Tracks and Signs from self -guiding activities. •A naturalist will answer nature questions, and orient you to the nature center trails. Try wood or metal snowshoes (wood snowshoes require 6+ inches of snow). Sleds will be available for pulling young kids. •Snowshoes available to rent for ages 4 to adult to rent. Snowshoe rental: $5/pair. Dress in layers and wear winter boots. Hot chocolate for all attendees! Free to attend.
Red Bull Crashed Ice

Take some of the best and toughest skaters in the world, a sizzling atmosphere, stunning surroundings and thousands of square meters of frozen water. The result? Red Bull Crashed Ice! One of the world’s most breathtaking winter sports events returns to Saint Paul for the sixth year. The Minnesota event is contested on a 1,600-foot-long track with a drop of 12 stories in front of the Cathedral of Saint Paul. Saint Paul Winter Carnival

The 2018 Saint Paul Winter Carnival is gearing up for another fantastic year with more than four dozen events and new attractions. Most events are FREE, open to the public, and will take place in downtown Saint Paul, near Rice Park and Landmark Center, as well as at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. Join us January 25 – February 10, 2018 for a 17 day celebration of winter!
Super Bowl Opening Night at Xcel Energy Center

Super Bowl LII festivities in Minnesota will kick off in primetime with Super Bowl Opening Night Fueled by Gatorade on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul.
Super Bowl Opening Night is the first interaction that players and coaches from the two teams have with media upon arrival in Minnesota. For the second straight year, members of both teams will interact with each other on stage for the first time and in front of fans. Super Bowl Opening Night will also feature special appearances and autographs by Minnesota Vikings legends, cheerleaders and team mascots, as well as fan photo opportunities.
