In this age of eco friendly home building the question remains…is a carbon neutral home a possibility?
By building green features such as low flow toilets, solar panels, and double pane doors and windows into a new home we are getting closer and closer to a carbon neutral home.
Of course, we aren’t there yet and for the most part it only works on new construction. Right now it is still too costly to replace all appliances and utilities with carbon neutral equivalents. But if we can do it with a new home that means each new home we build has a smaller and smaller impact on the planet. Which is really a huge impact.
