Lately there’s been an uproar over the proposed rezoning of Osseo schools Basswood Elementary and Oak View Elementary.

The rezoning would force some children who currently attend Basswood Elementary to switch to Oak View Elementary. The reason for the rezoning is to reduce overcrowding in Basswood Elementary, one of the top two schools in school district 279.

Oak View Elementary ranks much lower at 11 out of 17 schools in the same district.

Cedarcrest, a new neighborhood in the effected school district, would remain in Basswood Elementary School.

If you’re looking for a home in the Basswood Elementary zone be sure to look at the available homes in Cedarcrest.

Contact Aaron Lowe 952-200-4481 to learn about our close-out incentives available in this neighborhood. Hurry, there are only a few homes left in this great community, including our Spring 2014 Parade of Homes(sm) model.
